About the Job:

  • Respond to employees' inquiries about benefits and insurance, assisting with open enrollment processes, and reviewing benefits with potential applicants.
  • Conduct new employee orientation sessions and providing assistance with HR-related inquiries.
  • Reconcile accounts to sustain benefits programs, ensuring accuracy in insurance bills and employee premium payments for flexible spending plans and tuition assistance.
  • Compile information for reports, ensuring adherence to deadlines and federal/state regulations regarding personnel forms processing and documentation updates.
  • Offer backup receptionist coverage and maintain accurate HR records, including employee rosters and insurance lists.
About You:
  • 3+ years of HR experience, with a focus on benefits enrollment/changes, new hire orientations, and report generation.
  • Proficient in including word-processing, spreadsheets, MS Access, and E-verify.
  • Expertise in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and managing own workload effectively.
  • Ability to relate effectively to others, fostering positive relationships.
About the Position:
  • $28/hr-$30/hr while temporary
  • Up to $65K when permanent, DOE
  • 100% on-site
  • Office in Alexandria, VA.
