Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Technician located in Charleston, WV. The Field Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment and systems. The Field Technician will also need to provide regular maintenance to the equipment at regular intervals to ensure there is no downtime, ensuring the equipment is in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Experience in repairing and maintaining electronic equipment and systems, and electrical knowledge
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Experienced with safe ladder work/outdoor installations
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- A valid driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is a plus
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are a plus
- Prior experience in IT support is a plus
