Position: Access Control Technician II

Terms: 6 months contract to hire

Location: Huntsville, AL, onsite for the initial contract, hybrid after converting to FT

Requirements: Must be able to work hybrid schedule & pass financial background check

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain access control systems such as Brivo, Salto, 3x Logic, Axix, and others, ensuring optimal performance and security for our clients' facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to access control systems, utilizing your knowledge and experience to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand their access control needs and requirements, providing expert guidance and support throughout the implementation process.
  • Conduct system upgrades, patches, and updates as needed to ensure compatibility, functionality, and security compliance.
  • Perform regular system audits and inspections to identify potential vulnerabilities or weaknesses, implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks and enhance system reliability.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience working with access control systems such as Brivo, Salto, 3x Logic, Axix, or similar platforms, with a strong understanding of their capabilities and functionalities.
  • Proficiency in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of access control hardware and software components, including readers, controllers, and management software.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for access control, including authentication methods, encryption protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements.
