POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the activities of the Treasury Management department, including vendor relationships, and ensures such treasury management operations are in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Effectively presenting and cross selling 4Front services and products, through extensive sales calling efforts including partnerships with branch management and engaging in cold calls and follow-up calls. Provides key contact for all treasury management products for business members through a partnership arrangement with appropriate vendors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Assumes Responsibility for the effective and professional completion of business member enrollment.

  • Trains and advises staff on processes of business member enrollment documentation including but not limited to the enrollment form, proof of entity filing, operating agreement, resolutions, and pictured identification of all signers.
  • Assists new member in understanding the account opening process including providing electronic and online education to members, provides information and benefits of Treasury Management products and services and supports transition to 4Front accounts.
  • Identifies potential problems with information received from member and coordinates with the necessary party to resolve the problems or missing information.
  • Responsible for the Development and Implementation of new products and services and recommends improvements to product and service standards.
  • Develop, monitor, assess and coordinate account opening processes and procedures and recommends changes as needed.
Effectively supervises Department staff, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Provides leadership to personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Conducts staff meetings as required and informs personnel of policy and procedure changes. Discusses areas needing improvement.
  • Ensures personnel are well trained, effective, and optimally utilized. Identifies training needs and develops appropriate training programs. Conducts training sessions and cross trains as appropriate, consistently working to raise the level of performance of the treasury management team members.
  • Conducts performance appraisals as required. Formulates and implements corrective actions as needed. Sets individual goals with staff members to assist them in achieving their full potential.
  • Assists, supports, and serves personnel as needed.
Assumes responsibility for ensuring that professional business relations exist with customers, vendors, and trade professionals.
  • Ensures members' requests and questions are promptly and courteously resolved.
  • Ensures members are properly informed of Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Ensures the Credit Union's professional reputation is maintained both internally and externally.
  • Represents the Credit Union in contacts with business and trade professionals, maintaining third party relationships for increased treasury management products and/or services.
  • Discovering and reviewing possible vendor relationships, works through due diligence process, and presents a case to Sr Management for adding or updating treasury services
Assumes Responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Company personnel and with senior management.
  • Coordinates functions with related departments and branches and provides support and guidance as needed.
  • Works with Commercial Lending team personnel and provides support as needed.
  • Keeps senior management informed any significant problems that may arise.
  • Attends and participates in meetings as required.
  • Completes required reports and records.
  • Designs training programs to train employees on topics related to business members and accounts.
Responsible for related duties as required or assigned.
  • Cross sells CU services.
  • Serves as key service contact on business merchant services for credit union.
  • Stays informed regarding changes in retail services standards and related legal requirements.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.
  • Ensures work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

Prolific sales calling efforts on existing business members as well as new prospects.
  • Daily sales call regiment.
  • Meeting with potential business members to determine and meet the needs of their organization.
  • Written and verbal sales results reported to management.
  • Forward business members requiring loan services to Vice President.
Project professional business relations with customers and trade professionals. Questions and problems are promptly and courteously resolved. Programs and services are thoroughly explained.
  • Proponent for business services.
  • Perform market analysis and determine what services and products may be needed.
  • Assist and recommend in the development of improvements to products and services.
Maintain good working relationships with company personnel and with management. Provide assistance as needed. Inform management as needed.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
  • Knowledge of treasury management products, programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to make sales calls and present products and services to existing and potential business members of credit union
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Three to Five years of similar or related experience
  • Previous sales calling and member portfolio management preferred.
  • Merchant card services experience preferred.
  • Vendor management preferred
  • Lending experience preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to make effective sales presentations to current members and prospective members of credit union.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH:

Frequent travel for sales calling requiring visits to business member offices. Office work

is sedentary; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

WORKING CONDITIONS

REASONING ABILITY:
