Computer Network Support Specialist - Greencastle, Indiana
DISHER is currently partnering with an automotive manufacturing company in their search for a Purchasing Coordinator. In this role you will support internal stakeholders in resolving technology issues, solving basic technical problems and providing support for all assigned areas. The Computer Network Support Specialist will support PCs, printers, fax machines, copiers, audio-visual equipment, etc.

What you'll get to do:
- Resolve technology issues, such as solving basic technical problems and providing general technological support
- Support PCs, printers, fax machines, copiers, audio-visual equipment, etc.
- Provide support on networking and virtual technology issues
- Program and use applicable knowledge regarding circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware/software
- Work within telecommunications - transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and general operation
What will make you successful:- High School Diploma or GED is required, associate degree in technology preferred
- A+ Certification, or demonstrated equivalent experience is preferred
- Two years of experience in Information Technology.
- Excellent customer service and strong troubleshooting skills required.
- Good understanding of networking, computer repair and virtual technologies.
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS
- Understanding of routers, switches, firewalls and other edge security devices
- Ability to manage an Office 365 environment
- Ability to work with both technical and nontechnical personnel to solve IT related problems.
- Knowledge of basic networking technologies like LAN, WAN and Wireless connectivity
- Knowledge of Windows 7 & Windows 10 Operating Systems required
- Competent with software technologies and virus protection software systems
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
