Robotics Technician

Job Details

SUMMARY: Install, service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robots and automated production systems. Drive the continuous improvements of all set up programs and work cell setups.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, program, or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers or end-of-arm tools.
• Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand tools, power tools and fixtures.
• Assist in the design, configuration, or application of robotic systems.
• Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Train other personnel to install, use, or maintain robots.
• Troubleshoots equipment and processes, including mechanical and electrical problem solving.
• Partners with other departments to minimize downtime and ensure quality of production.
• Other duties as assigned by Engineering Manager

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:

High School diploma or GED equivalent-College degree a plus

Certified Robot Training

Proficient with Fanuc and ABB Robots
