Job Requirements:
- Expereince in patient access/medical receptionist roles is preferred
- Customer service experience
- Covid vaccine
- Flu vaccine
Job Overview: - This position is working the evening shift.
- Check patients in and out as well as schedule or reschedule appointments
- Explains insurance benefits and patient liability by using appropriate communication methods/styles
- Identifies and communicates payer authorizations and referral requirements as required
- responsible for financial counseling and insurance verification, and notification to patients and/or guardians of financial responsibility
- Educates and assists patients with the completion/submission of applications for alternative sources of payment for healthcare services
Other Information:- Openings for Patient Access Associate 1 and 2 are open
- Shift: 3:00 - 11:30
- Rotating weekends (will get two days off during the week when working the weekends)
- This is a full time, fully in person role
