Compass Health Network has a great opportunity for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at our inpatient/ outpatient substance use treatment facility. Individuals within this role will oversee clients safety and well-being, using Compass Champion Behavior. These individuals must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
Engages clients in group education to assist with recovery processValid unrestricted driver s license is required. The DSP will transport client as clinically indicatedUpdate medication log as needed, while storing appropriatelyMonitor clients as they self-administer medicationDSP will be responsible for ensuring new clients are orientated to processes and procedures for best possible careTrainings and team meetings are a requirement. DSP must participate/conduct disaster drill on each shift and observe Unit Manual PoliciesCollect and process Urine Drug ScreeningsDSP must be able to respond accordingly to a crisis situation as they ariseOn-site training provided.
