The Director of Engineering will focus on the development, use and review of objective management tools and measures with particular focus on MEP, security and automation systems

How you will impact our mission and growth:

  • Direct the establishment and continuous review of quality management indicators to include: Financial standards, i.e., revenue, cost, net per unit. Operational standards, i.e., hours of overtime, market penetration, etc. Service standards, i.e., satisfaction measures, service recovery
  • Participate in the development and review of management operations manual.
  • Coordinate with General Services Maintenance, Engineering and Grounds Peer Teams. Provide strategic and operational analysis of competition.
  • Assist community management in the implementation of quality improvement strategies.
  • Assist with special projects, i.e., evaluation/investigation of new standards. Act as liaison between Operations and General Services/Maintenance on Engineering issues, both for new site and standards creation.
  • Act as conduit for information exchange between Community General Service Departments and Maintenance and Engineering /ERC Mechanical Engineering Departments. Conduct annual M&E Assessment at all Communities. Continuous focus on creating utilities cost savings across enterprise.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience starting at $140000.00 / year

  • Significant business acumen and analytical abilities
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent business experience in General Services Operations and Building Systems preferred
