We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Support Specialist with our industry-leading client in Washington, DC.Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Rate: $40 - $50 / hr. w2Requirements:4+ years of experience in IT network support and installation on a variety of different network hardware and software including both wired and wireless networks.Ability to understand and execute oral and written communications.Experience installing, configuring, and removing LAN hardware including network servers, routers, and switches.Experience installing, configuring, and supporting hard wired access for a LAN including running cable, installing drops, and troubleshooting wire issues.Experience supporting and troubleshooting networking tools used for remote access and file transfer.Experience working within clients, VPN access, and virtual machines.Ability to work independently or on a team.Ability to understand and execute oral and written communications.Ability to deal effectively and communicate with individuals at all levels.Flexibility to travel.Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
