Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current RN license in the state of Arkansas
Current BLS certification
Must have ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties or task may be requested or assigned by immediate supervisor, his/her designee, or other management/supervisor.
- Provides input to directors regarding the functions and qualifications for positions within the area.
- Provide an atmosphere which enhances employee belief and practice of the House Rules.
- Establishes standards which ensure safe and therapeutically effective patient care or service.
- Promotes administrative policies and procedures for professional, technical and supportive staff.
- Assigns/supports staffing which accomplish the objective and standards for the area, the shift and upcoming shifts.
- Develops and maintains the defined system of record keeping and reporting.
- Works with leaders to support patient care functions to meet defined objectives for:
- Meeting personnel, supply and capital equipment needs.
- Providing orientation.
- Providing safety/risk management, infection control and other in-service/education needs.
