Job Details

Red River is seeking a Director of Treasury to join our growing team! The successful candidate will be extremely detailed oriented, possess excellent leadership traits, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be highly organized. The Director of Treasury directs the day-to-day operations related to Treasury to include timely, accurate, and actionable information.

Primary Position Tasks:

  • Active ownership and management of the rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, tracking actuals versus forecasts, and analyze forecasting variances, and presenting recommendations on how to improve forecasting and reduce variances going forward.

  • Work cross-functionally across the business and with FP&A to improve integrated financial planning activities.

  • Prepare the 13-week forecast presentation and lead discussions with senior management on findings and recommendations.

  • Coordinate and manage liquidity calculations for working capital needs in a proactive manner.

  • Monitor debt covenants and provide periodic reporting to CEO and CFO.

  • Review daily cash position and its components - lockbox receipts; ACH, check and wire A/P; payroll; interest and principal payments.

  • Coordinate with accounting team to ensure cash activities are properly recorded and bank accounts are properly reconciled to include bank matrix, signature cards, Bank fee statements analysis.

  • Negotiate and administer insurance policies and renewals.

  • Coordination with the sales and legal functions on new order/bid review analysis

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reporting to include necessary KPIs and metrics.

  • Other analytics and ad-hoc requests as required, including credit analyses and risk mitigation planning.

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is required with 7+ years of work experience.

  • High energy, dynamic professional with a strong leadership presence.

  • An effective presenter who can clearly and concisely explain accounting items & financial results.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experienced in complex three-statement financial modeling.

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion are required.

  • Must be able to handle sensitive materials and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

  • Must have high-level interpersonal skills and be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.

  • Self-directed and highly motivated, with the decisiveness and flexibility necessary to operate successfully in a changing, rapid-growth, hands-on environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and recognize the importance of relationship building and professionalism in interacting with both senior management and staff employees.

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Professional certification such as CTP, CPA or CFA strongly preferred

  • Experience building and leading a Treasury team, executing multiple projects, and juggling competing priorities.

  • Experience with Asset Back Lending and Supply Chain financing facilities.

  • Maturity and perspective which add value beyond the finance function; ability to assume broader responsibilities, to help set strategic direction to establish operating priorities.

  • Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

  • Mergers and acquisitions and successful integrations.

  • ERP implementations.

  • Leadership roles in working with Private Equity backed organizations.

Essential Elements:

This position is an office position that requires sitting at a desk for multiple hours throughout the workday.
