About the role:
As a Financial Analyst at TQL, you will be responsible for financial and operational forecasting, modeling and reporting to support our continued pursuit of innovating the logistics industry. You will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, generating insights and providing leadership with strategic recommendations to support the company's financial decision-making processes.

What you'll be doing: - Conduct comprehensive analysis of company-wide financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, variances and opportunities for organizational and departmental improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate financial forecasts, monitor performance and highlight any deviations while providing actionable recommendations
- Build and maintain complex financial models to simulate scenarios, evaluate potential investments and assess the impact of various business decisions on financial outcomes
- Identify and analyze trends, economic factors and industry benchmarks that could impact the company's financial performance
- Translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Work with management to provide financial insights and recommendations that align with the company's strategic goals and assist in evaluating potential business opportunities and investments
- Continuously assess and enhance financial analysis processes, tools and methodologies to increase efficiency and accuracy
What you need: - 2+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- Proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data interpretation
- Knowledge of financial principles and corporate finance concepts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple projects at once
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Ethical and committed to maintaining confidentiality and sensitive financial information
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial software
