Curriculum Manager - Entry Level (Maryland)

As a Curriculum Manager on the National Cryptologic University (NCU) Team, you will be doing just that; directly supporting, sustaining, and transforming training curricula that keep the Agency running. The College of Language and Intelligence Analysis is looking for a curriculum manager to coordinate with teaching departments, customers, and education/training professionals to ensure its curricula meet the needs of Agency analysts. Furthermore, the curriculum manager must ensure that adequate courses are scheduled, that a cadre of qualified instructors exists and is available, and that any new learning solutions are valid and complementary to existing offerings. Additional tasks include: - Handle day-to-day activities associated with the implementation of learning events, interventions, and employee development programs; - Develop training curricula; - Implement training technologies; - Produce training materials; and - Evaluate training.

Qualifications
The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Degree must be in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field, or in the relevant subject matter (e.g., Mathematics for a Mathematics instructor). Entry is with a Bachelor's degree and no experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Relevant experience must be in a training or learning environment, in a subject matter related to the position in which the candidate is applying and/or managing curriculum content.
Learning Event Facilitation: Managing and prioritizing the day-to-day requirements for executing education, training, and development events. Providing Customer Service: Working with customers to clarify their needs and to determine how their needs can be met; providing timely and accurate responses to requests for assistance, information, products, or services; and making customers aware of full range of products and services available from your organization. Working with Others: Helping or assisting coworkers, subordinates, or other employees when needed; serving as point of contact for a functional area or organization. Communication: Listening, being receptive to others, attending to non-verbal cues, and responding appropriately; expressing ideas, facts, or other information effectively to individuals or groups; and making clear and convincing oral presentations. Partnering: Collaborating with colleagues, counterparts, management, and others to achieve common goals.
