SUMMARY STATEMENT

Performs various clerical duties relating to the processing and administration of trust accounts. Includes opening and closing trust accounts, arranging asset transfers, updating trust account records, paying bills, and disbursing proceeds. Performs general clerical functions in support of the Wealth Management department and the Executive Leadership team.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Serves as an integral support role for client relationship; coordinates communications and meetings and assists with operational components for the account.
  2. Provides good customer service by responding to customer inquiries, either by phone or in the office.
  3. Assists with the preparation of correspondence, client reports, and reports directly to other areas within the Bank.
  4. Ensures that client records are maintained, according to policy and procedure, either electronically or in hard copy.
  5. Prepares and maintains documentation for contributions, distributions, and securities orders for client accounts, as applicable.
  6. Remains up-to-date on the computer systems used to process client transactions, as well as open and closed accounts, and print client reports.
  7. Ensures that all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
  8. Works with Relationship Managers to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations, high-level customer satisfaction maintenance, and other duties as requested.
  9. Supports Executive Leadership Team by performing clerical duties, as assigned.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor s degree, required.
  • 2-4 years related experience as a trust assistant, or similar financial services position, preferred.
