Role Summary
We are actively seeking a Sheet Metal Estimator with extensive experience in sheet metal installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Prepare solicitations
- Develop relationships with vendors
- Analyzing information, Estimating, Planning, Strategic Planning, Attention to Detail
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines
- At least 4 years of estimating experience
- Degree in construction management or related field a plus
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, pipefitting techniques, and sheet metal fabrication and installation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and coordinating diverse teams to achieve project goals.
- Proficiency in construction project management software and tools.
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
