Packer
Description The Packer receives carts and cartons from the Pickers with products to be packed for shipment. Product is verified and counted per the order, carton(s) are assembled if necessary to place the product in with included certificates and appropriate packing material is placed in the carton, carton is taped shut, required labels, documents or markings applied to the carton. Export orders must have a packing slip completed and included proforma travel with the carton to be shipped.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Verify product and quantity
* Pack product in appropriate sized carton with sufficient packing material
* Carton is securely taped shut and marked/labeled appropriately
* Required documentation is completed and placed with the carton
* Export Packer may be required to stack packed cartons on a skid and collect weights and dimensions for shipment.

Requirements
* High School diploma or GED
* Warehouse experience preferred
* Capability to operate a pallet jack
* Computer skills required
**Physical/Mental Essential Functions:**
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs with assistance
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Ability to use keyboard with a mouse
* Ability to count and sort
* Ability to read and follow written instructions
* Ability to be efficient with strong attention to detail
