Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Hardware Deployment: Assist in the replacement of old devices at the acquired facility with organization-imaged devices. This involves building machines and deploying the organization's image onto the hardware provided.
  2. Imaging Process: Perform imaging tasks on the equipment provided. Ensure that zero operating systems are on the devices and execute imaging processes efficiently.
  3. Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of all hardware assets by recording serial numbers and applying appropriate labeling. Keep track of inventory throughout the imaging and deployment process.
  4. Software Configuration: Utilize SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) or MCM (Microsoft Configuration Manager) experience to configure and deploy software packages as per the organization's standards.
  5. Day-to-Day Operations: Perform daily tasks including unboxing new equipment, imaging devices, running through checklists for quality assurance, and conducting both manual and package installations as required.
  6. Destination Management: Ensure that all imaged devices are correctly deployed to their designated locations within the acquired facility's infrastructure.
  7. User Support: Provide technical support to end-users post-deployment. Address any issues or concerns promptly and efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to operations.


Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience with imaging processes and hardware deployment preferred.
  2. Familiarity with SCCM or MCM for software configuration and deployment is a plus
  3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for asset management.
  4. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and checklists.
  5. Excellent communication skills for user support and collaboration within the team.
