JOB SUMMARY:

Direct financial activities for Real Estate Corporation.


DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage daily reconciliation of cash accounts

Delegate authority for the receipt, disbursement, banking, protection, and custody of funds, securities, and financial instruments

Monitor financial activities and details, such as cash flow and reserve levels

Execute all accounts payable and accounts receivable functions including managing credit card expense reports and reconciliation

Responsible for integrity of the general ledger

Prepare monthly journal entries and generate monthly financial statements

Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.

Provide auditors verification of financial results

Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and non-organizational accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities

Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.

Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, etc.


This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional overtime required.
