Job Title: Owner s Representative Program Manager, Healthcare Construction
Job Summary: Responsible for working with the Lead Program Manager to provide oversite of project scheduling, pricing, and overall performance of individual healthcare projects or programs. They may aid with proposal development, contract negotiation and contract compliance. Program manager will ensure the master plan and schedule are followed, working with contractors, designer and consultants to develop solutions to program challenges for successful completion of the project on time and on budget.
This is a work-from-home position, with frequent travel to project sites in the Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily interface with client, design and construction project team, representing the healthcare facility owner
Collaboration with the client to ensure project alignment of all stakeholders
Responsible for implementation oversight of company and client processes and procedures
Ensure proper utilization of project resources
Monitor to ensure that vision, goals, and objectives are being achieved
Assure that standards such as safety and risk avoidance are integrated into all project plan
Track submission and approval of project submittal and RFI documents from the contractor
Assist contractors with submission and approval of any necessary internal client or external municipality permits for respective projects
Track closeout documentation, warranty, and punch-list items from inception to completion
Develop and track schedule and project cost. Proactively lead the development of solutions when program schedule and costs are out of alignment with the approved plan
Conduct regular reviews with the client for accountability and successful management of the project
Provide project status reports and updates to client senior management and to client
Client interface at project status meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
PMP Certification a plus, but not a requirement
Proficiency with program/project management software
Proficiency with scheduling and budgeting software
Minimum 4 years of experience as a manager of healthcare design and construction projects.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and shifting time requirements
