Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with responsible for analyzing and researching public market securities and investment opportunities outside of the MENA region. The role involves monitoring markets, preparing research reports, and generating investment ideas.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis and research of public market securities and investment opportunities outside of the MENA region
- Monitoring markets, preparing research reports, and generating investment ideas
- Contributing to the evaluation and screening of investment opportunities, including assessment of industry, geography, business models, financial statements, valuations, and other fundamental and technical data
- Contributing to development and analysis of financial models
- Construction, monitoring and ongoing evaluation and analysis of portfolio investments for model portfolio of research, including P&L analysis and risk management
- Working as part of a team and overseeing more junior members to support the above work-streams
- Quarterly travel to the MENA region
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6+ years of relevant work experience with 2 years minimum on buyside
- Professional experience in New York, London, or other developed markets
- Exposure to range of public market asset classes (public equity, fixed income, currencies, derivatives, etc.)
- Previous experience with the assessment and management of overall portfolio exposures
- Advanced analytical capabilities including creating, calculating and interpreting complex financial models - DCF, NPV, IRR
- Good team player with a high level of initiative, resourcefulness, and high work standards
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressured and dynamic environment
The salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The base salary range for this role will generally be between $120,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment, but the salary offered may be outside this range based on these reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, the salary may be only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
