Job Details

Pay: $26.44 31.25/hour during the temp-to-hire period (full-time position pays $55K - $65K). If hired by our client, excellent benefits are provided including 100% paid medical and dental insurance; 401k with company match; 15 days PTO; and paid holidays.


Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break)


Company Overview: Our client, with offices based just south of Downtown Denver, is a leader in the production of proteins and other scientific substances used in the biomedical/biosciences industry, primarily for medical research. They manufacture and fulfill orders from scientists and international medical research facilities and package and ship products worldwide daily. The Denver facility operates with about 15 employees and is a great company to work for if you enjoy the world of science!


Temp-to-Hire Position Overview: The Inventory/MRP Specialist will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SPOs) in Fishbowl Inventory Management software and for Master Data entry, accuracy, and integrity. Areas of focus include data integrity monitoring, Part entry, Bill of Materials (BOM) structure, Materials Ordered (MO) generation, and Cost of Good (COG) analytics, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) report generation. This position will be responsible for ensuring planning parameters are set in the system and will be the go-to person for Fishbowl processes. Strong communication skills will allow you to excel in a position that requires regular interaction with Production team members. The position is at the level of individual contributor and reports directly to the Production Manager.


Job Duties:


  • Create and maintain SOPs for Fishbowl Inventory Management software system.
  • Utilize Fishbowl Inventory software to Implement industry standard manufacturing and inventory processes to streamline the production process.
  • Maintain control and accuracy of production master data.
  • Create and maintain accurate BOMs.
  • Create MOs to support product inventory levels.
  • Lead the development of analytics, reports and dashboard visualizations related to Master Data that will support the collection and analysis of COG and other production KPIs and support initiatives to improve performance.
  • Procure all raw materials required in the production process.
  • Work collaboratively with the Production team and other team members to identify & implement continuous process improvements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Science, Business, Supply Chain or related technical field
  • 2+ years relevant experience in a process manufacturing environment.
  • High level of proficiency with process manufacturing software, preferably Fishbowl Inventory
  • Ability to communicate and achieve goals effectively with others at all levels of seniority.
