The expected salary range for this position is $153,400.00 - $191,750.00. The Senior Manager of Corporate & Foundation Relations is a contributing member of Compassion s Global Philanthropic Engagement department and provides expertise, leadership, and direction for the Corporate and Foundation Relations team.

Reporting to the Director of Major Gifts, this senior manager

is a key member of the major gift leadership team and

is responsible for creating and executing a well-coordinated, strategic development plan to secure vital funding from foundations and corporations to advance Compassion s mission.

The incumbent will serve in a management capacity working with a small to moderate sized team of relationship managers focused on

engaging corporations and foundations with Compassion's ministry objectives. This responsibility may include hiring, disciplining, and terminating employment, as well as, coaching, managing performance, and assigning and approving work to satisfy broad objectives and department strategies. The incumbent will ensure completion of department responsibilities, calling on available resources to achieve department objectives, working within approved budget.What will you do?Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion s ministry in prayer.

Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks, and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of children through Compassion s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.

Serves as a key leader and subject matter expert in a professional fundraising environment with particular emphasis on qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of a large portfolio of corporate and foundation donors and constituents of Compassion's ministry. Actively advances growth and is accountable for achieving revenue goals established by leadership.

Serves as a senior contributor and/or leader in designing and leading unique fundraising and cultivation activities/campaigns for the purpose of generating revenue, increasing retention, identifying prospects, and acquiring

commitments/sponsorships.

Leads and oversees the development of multi-faceted fundraising forecasts. Ensures strategy and timelines for each constituent relationship and qualified prospect are met to achieve fundraising goals.

Occasionally speaks on behalf of Compassion or children in need in various settings and to a variety of prospective and current constituent audiences. Further, targets message accordingly and draws upon in-depth knowledge of Compassion's products.

Fosters a healthy team culture and provides leadership and development to direct reports. As applicable, fosters an environment of professional growth, in alignment with compassion s strategies and objectives.

Consults with peer management and senior leaders to successfully align departmental resources and priorities across Compassion.

Selects, manages, and develops assigned staff, establishing goals and objectives, coaching, and managing performance, including discipline, motivation, and annual reviews.

What do you bring?Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Fifteen years relevant experience working in this or a related field.

Relevant experience managing fundraising teams.

Certification from a nationally or internationally recognized organization in a related field. (CFRE preferred)
