Product Manager

Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site) in Englewood, CO

Contract Duration: W2 Contract through the end of the year. Possibility for extension or conversion but not guaranteed.

Pay Rate: $60-$65/hour


Overview: The Internet Product org at our Fortune 500 client is looking to bring on a Product Manager to support the development and launch of Cellular Backup that will specifically support SMB customers. This product will allow SMB customers to access internet connection even when their cable goes out.


Skill Set

  • 3-5+ years of Product Management experience
  • have experience supporting the development and launch of SMB products
  • with cellular carrier devices, provisioning, and management systems highly desired. Small-to-Medium Business product experience required.
  • communication skills and ability to work cross functionally across multiple different stakeholder groups


Responsibilities

  • for leading Internet product lifecycle and development initiatives for an SMB Cellular Backup product
  • to understand SMB customer needs and effectively communicate this into requirements and product design.
  • across engineering, sales, product, billing, etc. to ensure the product is launched effectively
  • understands industry best practices in product development process specific to the cable or telecommunications space and translate appropriate steps for unique organization and market position.
  • and assists with gathering information to translate high-level process goals into specific sub-processes with appropriate documentation, develop communication plan for stakeholders and process.
  • the development and communication of product strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results.
  • with different lines of business on implementing new product strategy.
  • product launches and enhancements of products across service and application portfolio.


Interview Process: One interview via Webex with the hiring manager and a second onsite interview with the VP of Internet Product


Team overview: There are 4 members on the team right now. Work collaboratively, but also own their own products. Fast paced environment.


Selling Points

  • product that will help SMB customers. Still in early phases so this individual will get to see the product through design, testing and validation and launch.
