**The Job Details are as follows:**

The Delivery Lead plays a key role in helping projects meet business and technical schedules. This role will be responsible for the full delivery and execution of multiple initiatives within a technical application or program.

**Program Delivery and Oversight**

* Effectively lead team through the scope development process on medium to large scale implementations. Ensuring complete requirements are developed and addressing the requirements is incorporated into the overall scope.

* Deliver business value through application development and enhancements.

* Guide the development team through the process of design, developing, and unit testing.

* Interact and coordinate activities with other key stakeholders and roles within the wider organization, including but not limited to product team, business analysts, quality assurance & project management.

* Evaluate, assess, plan, and guide technical direction and architecture decisions.

* Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and responsibility with assignments. This includes gathering and understanding requirements, technical specifications, design, architecture, implementation, unit testing, builds/deployments, and code management.

* Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

* Develops project timeline and responsible for ensuring project is delivered on time.

* Responsible for leading projects contained in the program on time, within budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements.

* Verifies tasks are completed on time and within budget and that IT governance is followed.

**Technical Skills**

* Technical acumen or experience in the software development life cycle.

* A devotion to uncovering the why of any situation.

* Provide thought leadership to help streamline work intake, planning, and reporting processes to ensure processes support Lean principles that guide and influences metrics to increase organizational agility.

* Oversees processes, policies, procedures, training, and tooling changes to continuously improve the flow of work based on feedback from key stakeholders and teams.

* Hands-on experience in both Agile and traditional practices, including decomposing business problems through user stories, facilitating team planning & steering meetings, expertly responding to change and effectively utilizing metrics. An understanding of Kanban and/or extreme programming practices are a plus.

**Qualifications**

* Bachelors degree or higher with a technical discipline.

* 5+ years of technical program management experience.

* Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale, java-based web projects from conception through implementation.

* Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines.

* Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules.

* Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.

* High attention to detail including effective stakeholder communications.

* Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

* History of teamwork, earning trust, and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done.

* Strong Analytical Skills.
