Total Safety is looking for a Laundry Tech to add to our safety conscious team.
Specific Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain the current FRC measurement and ordering program to include supply of new nametags.
- Maintain FRC integrity
- Conduct repairs including sewing of nametags for new or repaired FRC, replace patches, buttons, zippers, etc
- Maintain all 10-drop bins.
- Assist personnel with fitting, scheduling pickups/drop offs, answer questions
- Issue and maintain new garments:
- Barcode all new items (using heat press)
Record all information into excel file and jot down numbers for each individual item
Place numbers into barcode system and print
- Add all items to Completed Order spreadsheet (includes: description of item, size, brand, barcode, picked up, etc.)
- Maintain return records:
- Note all items returned in notebook and who it was issued to
- Inspect all returned items
- Mark item description
- Fold or hang up depending on delivery locations
- Maintain communication with constant regarding status of FRC including answering calls and maintaining email.
- Fulfill any special request such as placing new items in locker for night shift persons; along with form for signing, pick up form following day, or issue loaners until new items arrive.
- General maintenance of laundry facility.
- Standard work hours: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm.
