Responsibilities:

- Extensive legal research and drafting of substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs
- Regularly represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions
- Draft and respond to discovery requests
- Expert witness retention and collaboration
- Trial preparation and attendance

Skills:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar in WV
- 5+ years of experience in civil defense litigation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently
