The Foreman is responsible for supervising and managing the trade-specific services provided by the company on assigned projects. The Foreman enforces the company's policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, and ensures that construction deadlines are met. Responsibilities of the Foreman: Completes safety planning and ensures safety awareness for the trade specific scope of the project being completed by the companyAware of other trades on the project to ensure their activities do not endanger the safety of the crewsCompletes routine project documents including daily work reports, weekly toolbox talks, and job hazard analysisTracks units put in place, crew size and productivity to ensure the project is meeting or exceeding bid time production ratesReviews the project schedule on a regular basis to ensure that the project is on or ahead of scheduleDocuments any schedule delays, safety concerns, detrimental site conditions or other issues that affect the ability to perform work in a safe and productive mannerKnows the company's assigned scope of work and coordinates with the project manager on any tasks that fall outside this scope before startingReviews Client requirements and works with the Client managers to assure appropriate personnel are on the projectReviews equipment requirements and works with the equipment manager to assure the needed equipment is onsiteFacilitates daily coordination meeting with all tradesManages quality of work put in place (both self-performed work and subcontractors)Receives and reviews all material deliveries to make sure the delivery matches what is shown on the delivery ticketChecks deliveries for possible damage and/or quality issues and reports to the appropriate departmentCollects, organizes, and properly codes all delivery tickets and submits to project managerWorks with project manager to review job cost reports and control costs for the projectMaintains an up-to-date set of as-built documentsRegularly communicates with the owner/client to confirm that the project is meeting owner's expectationsCoordinates the management of the company's subcontractors with the PMAdheres to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environmentPerforms other duties as assignedRequirements: High School Diploma or GED required30 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employmentAppropriate education or a combination of experience and training that equips an individual with the necessary skills, knowledge, and qualities to effectively perform Foreman duties Ability to read, follow and provide input on a construction schedule Thorough knowledge of the company's safety plan and OSHA regulations Ability to read blueprints is requiredMust maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving recordMust be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may at times require overnight stays away from home Excellent work ethic and attendance is required Capable of regularly working in outdoor weather conditions that may be wet, hot, humid, or freezing, and dealing with dirt and dustAble to work in a team environmentExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong problem-solving skills is a mustMust be willing to submit to a drug screen for employmentWhat's in it for you?: Health insurance Dental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceShort Term/Long Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramHealth Savings AccountESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)401K -match up to 4%PTO Does this sound like the opportunity you have been seeking?
