Addison Group, in partnership with our client based in Downtown Los Angeles, is seeking a hybrid-remote Payroll Specialist (Contract-Hire) to join their team.

This is a 3+ month long contract opportunity with the potential for permanent conversion.

Job Site Status (onsite/hybrid/remote) - This is a hybrid-remote opportunity (on site for training; after training, Thursdays & Fridays will be remote)

Compensation/Benefits - Hourly rate ranges from $27-$31/hr. After 60 days of employment, you will be eligible for standard benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO & 401k.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Processing full-cycle payroll utilizing ADP Workforce Now
Updating payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, benefits elections, and job titles/compensation changes
Preparing payroll reports (earnings, taxes, deductions, vacations, disability) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Answering employees' questions on payroll issues
Accepting any other ad-hoc accounting duties

REQUIREMENTS
At least 1-2 years of Payroll processing experience
Intermediate-Level Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)
Experience utilizing ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)
Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity
Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and cooperate with fellow professionals in various disciplines and both office and out-of-office environments
