Role Overview
The Postdoctoral Fellow will report to Prof. Shreyas Sen, Founder and CTO, Ixana, and will assist in research on mixed-signal circuit design for ultra-low-power body-area-communication ICs. The project is led by multi-disciplinary collaborators with expertise in microelectronics, wireless communication, electromagnetics and biology.
The position is fully-funded and is available for at least 2 years. Anticipated start date: ASAP.
Qualifications
PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field
Strong mixed-signal/ RFIC design, tape-out and characterization experiences in sub-micron CMOS technologies
Working knowledge of Cadence/Synopsys design, simulation, layout, and verification tools
Knowledge of compact, low-power, low-noise frontend circuit design is highly desirable
One or more first-author ISSCC, JSSC, CICC, RFIC papers
Preferred
- Experience writing grants and patents
- Chip tape-out experience
The position is based in our West Lafayette, IN office. However Seattle/SF Bay Area/San Diego possible for exceptional candidates
