Are you an IT support professional looking to move to your tropical paradise?
*This role is an on-site role in Honolulu, Hawaii, supporting a facility recently acquired by our client, a Fortune 100 manufacturer and distributor.*
**We are open to discussing relocation to Honolulu for all interested and qualified candidates**
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of all IT hardware, software, and systems, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and support requests from church staff and volunteers, providing timely and effective assistance.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Maintain and improve our Church Management Database System, RockRMS, to best serve the staff and ministry.
- Develop and implement a volunteer recruitment strategy to attract individuals with relevant IT skills and expertise to support the IT department.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in technical support of both hardware and software application portfolios
- Experience with a ticket management tool such as ServiceNow or Remedy to track and excalate changes
- Solid troubleshooting and customer service skills
