LHH is seeking a passionate Marketing and Communications professional with non profit experience in the Los Angeles area. Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our organization's objectives, programs, and initiatives. Identify target audiences and select the most effective channels for reaching them.
- Content Creation: Produce engaging content for a variety of platforms including websites, social media, email newsletters, and press releases. Collaborate with team members to ensure messaging is consistent and aligns with organizational goals.
- Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with media outlets and influencers to secure press coverage and raise awareness of our activities. Prepare press materials, pitch stories, and coordinate interviews as needed.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts including social media management, email marketing, and online advertising. Analyze data to optimize performance and drive engagement.
- Brand Management: Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels. Develop and enforce brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive and professional image.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strategies to engage and retain supporters, donors, and volunteers. Create targeted communications to express gratitude and provide updates on impact.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with internal teams to align marketing efforts with organizational objectives. Provide guidance and support to junior staff or volunteers involved in marketing activities.
- Fundraising: Working directly with internal teams for marketing materials for fundraising and grant writing efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Non-profit experience required.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
