Job Details

As a VIC the PICC Vascular Access Consultant RN you will:

  • Place PICC s, midlines and peripheral IVs with ultrasound and use ECG confirmation.
  • Assist with management of PICCs and Vascular Access Devices
  • Provide a wide range of vascular access including but not limited to port access, removal of lines, declotting PICCs, etc.
  • Educate nursing staff regarding PICCs, Midlines and many other CVADs


In this role, you will be visiting patients in different facilities. You must be willing to travel to patient visits and be able to participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.


Per Diem requirements: 4 full days per month, which may include weekends, evenings and holidays.


PICC RN QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered Nurse with current license
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in acute care preferred
  • Experienced in PICC placements with ultrasound
  • Have and maintain current CPR certification
  • Possess a current and valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Ability to work independently
  • Participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs
  • Must possess a smart phone
  • Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to patient sites
  • Must LOVE Vascular Access
