CTR Group is seeking a Shop Fitter for a Metal Fabrication Company in the Hampton, VA, area. A First-Shift Position.
Pay Range: $25 - $30 per Hour
SUMMARY:
For our client in custom steel fabrication, we are currently seeking a Shop Fitter to join our team. Will be responsible for fabricating, aligning, adjusting, and modifying metal components for proper fit. Install components, units, sub-assemblies,
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School or GED
- Apprenticeship and/or formal training
- Minimum 2-5 years of Shop Fitting experience
- Blueprint reading
- Follow Work orders
- Good math skills, especially Algebra and Geometry
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances)
- Ability to obtain certification for MHE (Material Handling Equipment)
