Production Manager 1st Shift
TGC Search is partnered with one of our top clients in Milwaukee, WI looking to add their next Production Manager to the team in a direct hire/full-time position.
We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate our production operations. In this role, you will ensure that quality standards are met, and targets set by our Quality Management System (QMS) are achieved. You will be responsible for organizing workflows, setting goals, and leading a team to achieve production objectives..
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that quality standards are consistently met and targets set by our QMS are achieved.
- Define daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate them to your team.
- Monitor team performance and track progress from the start of production through shipment.
- Organize workflows by assigning tasks, preparing schedules, and optimizing day-to-day activities to keep costs down.
- Recruit, coach, and lead production staff, providing training, feedback, and support as needed.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3 plus years of proven experience in production supervision or manager role in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 a plus
- Excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience with teaching, leading and supervising up to 30 production employees.
