They are a robotics manufacturer in the food and beverage industry looking to revolutionise physical industries such as food, transportation and manufacturing.
Their mission is to transform the food assembly process through intelligent robots.
Founded over 4 years ago, they have experienced rapid growth and are looking to continue to expand their operations in the US.
Role Summary
As a Manufacturing Robot Wrangler you will primarily be working on the food assembly line for their customers, assisting manufacturing supervisors and operators to use robots effectively in their day-to-day.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinating onsite schedule of robots and customer manufacturing plans.
- Assisting customer assembly line leaders to plan for the best use of the robots.
- Collaborating with line supervisors to integrate robots into the assembly line.
- Configuring, setting up and running the robots.
- Acting as an onsite resource for troubleshooting and basic repairs as well as training customers on operation and maintenance.
- Coordinating and carrying out inspection, repair, and maintenance tasks on robots.
- Identifying, communicating, and appropriately documenting product issues, complaints, and improvement suggestions.
- When necessary, escalating problems to appropriate team members for solutions.
Experience required
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing support role.
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule to support customer schedules, including some nights, weekends, and on-call hours.
- Availability to travel to customer sites when necessary (50% of the time)
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to document tasks performed according to SOPs and documenting problems or failures in the product, process or equipment.
Nice to have
- Working level proficiency in Spanish
- Experience in manufacturing automation
- Associate degree or above in a related major
