Our client is a newly founded DG developer, focused on tackling new challenges in renewables to reach decarbonization goals. Across the mid-west and beyond, the small but mighty team has had a track record of success, building a steady pipeline of projects for the next 5+ years already.
To continue to succeed they are seeking an experienced, executive-level finance individual. This person will be a partner to the existing team and overall business. Building out the companies culture, and processes, and helping grow the team in the future.
Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
- Review and refine financial and project models.
- Create and recommend financial strategy recommendations to the board regularly.
- Manage cash flow, cash management, financial statements, and reports.
- Conduct financial analysis for the company's existing and future goals.
- Manage and build out the finance team in the long term.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in a project finance and/or FP&A role.
- Must have at least 2 years in the renewable energy industry.
- Obtaining a CPA cert or Accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong financial modeling and project modeling skills.
- Must acquire the skills to present to a board on financial forecasting.
- Experience in project proposals, project finance, and financial accounting related to projects.
