Position Summary:

Parry s Pizzeria & Taphouse is seeking a highly driven, witty, organized, and strategic marketer to join our team as a full-time Guest Loyalty & Email Marketing Specialist! This role will support marketing efforts across all Parry s locations, including numerous new restaurant openings in 2024 and beyond. Get ready for some action!


This position will help support several vital marketing functions including email marketing, SMS (text), guest satisfaction, loyalty strategy and engagement, social media monitoring and local store promotion.


Parry s Pizza is a fast-growing company, with 23 locations open now and seven more set to open in 2024! The Guest Loyalty & Email Marketing Specialist will report to the VP of Marketing and will collaborate closely with the rest of the marketing department on all efforts. This person will be an essential team member in helping Parry s build our reputation as the destination of choice for families, pizza lovers and craft beer fans in every community we serve.


Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Email Marketing & SMS (approximately 50% of role):

  • Communicate to guests with the Parry s voice, which is energetic, witty, captivating and fun
  • Test and send campaign-related and restaurant-specific marketing emails
  • Test and send SMS messages and push notifications
  • Ensure high email interaction rates and optimize for several areas including open rate, click rate, unsubscribe rate as well as send-time and subject line optimization
  • Optimize emails and improve templates with a focus on design, content and calls to action
  • Strategize, propose and test automated marketing and loyalty emails
  • Stay leading-edge and innovative by evaluating competitor campaigns and other industry leaders and marketing innovators
  • Report back to the VP of Marketing on key metrics including email interaction rates, contact list growth, SMS interaction, send-time, and subject line optimization and more


Guest Satisfaction/Loyalty (approximately 30% of role):

  • Support the Digital Marketing Specialist with guest satisfaction management across online channels including Google, Yelp, Facebook and more
  • Become an expert on Parry s Loyalty program and support efforts including communication with loyalty members, new offers/features


Local Store Support and Promotion (approximately 15% of role):

  • Maintain the local store marketing calendar of events at all Parry s locations


  • Collaborate and assist restaurants with their local store efforts including template-based flyer and graphics creation, promotional strategies and follow-up


Other Responsibilities (approximately 5% of role):

  • Support maintenance of Parry s 3rd party platforms including Google, Yelp, Apple, TripAdvisor, Untappd and 3rd party delivery provider menus and information
  • Support ordering of marketing materials
  • Support new restaurant openings as needed


Required Qualities:

  • 2+ years of email marketing experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strategic and bold thinker
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
  • Able to understand and communicate brand voice including humor
  • Self-motivated and competitive
  • Strong desire to grow and develop quickly


Preferred Skills & Experience with:

  • Email marketing software (i.e. Constant Contact, MailChimp, SendGrid or similar)
  • Analytics and reporting
  • Social media
  • Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Restaurant, craft beer and/or sports industry preferred
