Electrical Maintenance Technician

OpSource has partnered with a manufacturing company located in Blythewood, SC.

Pay for the position:

• $29.00 - $40.00

Shifts for the position:

• 12 hour rotating shift.
• 5:15 pm to 5:30 am.

Job requirements for the position may include:

• Must have industrial mechanical/electrical machine repair and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge and experience with PLCs

• Basic knowledge of electrical fundamentals.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and local codes.
• Basic knowledge of arc flash standards.
• Installation of electrical circuits for 120vac, 230vac and 480vac.
• Ability to bend and install electrical conduit and wire, install breaker panels and junction boxes, and terminate all wiring.
• Maintain and troubleshoot main switch gear panels.
• Install/maintain all plant lighting.
• Maintain 1 line drawing for main electrical system and trace and mark individual circuits in panels.

Qualifications for the position:

• Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a metal working industry.

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred; and/or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have industrial mechanical/electrical machine repair and troubleshooting. Knowledge and experience with PLCs preferred.
