Lucky13 Hospitality Group seeks an experienced Events Manager to handle sales, coordination, planning, and supervision of events across various venues while integrating with daily hospitality operations for two of our locations: Lost Never Found and Bamboo Club. Both restaurants are located in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. Responsibilities include promoting events, fostering business connections, handling inquiries, securing bookings, and overseeing event execution and restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is positive, communicative, detail-oriented, results-driven, organized, customer-focused, and has a background in hospitality. Flexibility in tasks and a passion for enhancing customer experiences are essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the venue's events, including corporate functions, parties, weddings, and programming events ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction through client collaboration.
  • Maintain prompt communication with management, handle inquiries, and manage event essentials for successful execution.
  • Prioritize tasks, adapt to changing demands, and demonstrate professionalism while ensuring a visible presence at the restaurant.
  • Engage in revenue discussions, procure new clients, and stay updated on industry trends for effective marketing.
  • Attend events for smooth execution, assist with hospitality duties, and perform additional tasks as required to support overall objectives.


Schedule: This is a full time and in person position, 40-55 hours weekly; evenings and weekends.


Experience, Skills, and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of event planning or hospitality management experience in a high-volume setting.
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred but not required; restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with event platforms like Tripleseat, OpenTable, and EventBrite is a plus.
  • Proven track record in planning and executing events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational, multitasking and flexibility abilities, to succeed in a fast-paced setting.

  • Food handling (ServeSafe) and alcohol certifications (Basset) will be necessary upon hiring, not initially.

Compensation Details

Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000 (Based on experience) Salary + Commission
