Title: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Inpatient - Med/Surg
Location: Olathe, KS *Relocation assistance offered for those out of area
Schedule: Full-time, (3) 12hr shifts; Nights (6:45PM-7:15AM). No on call. Every 3rd weekend

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Registered Nurse duties to include but not be limited to:
-Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific and developmentally/specialty appropriate nursing care by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills and for ensuring the comfort and safety of patients/families
-Perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
-Assemble equipment and supplies for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty service area; perform or assist others with procedures or treatments
-Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned and document
-Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor s degree or associate degree with desire to obtain within five years of employment
-Current Kansas or compact licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required
-At least one year of acute care, inpatient, RN experience
