Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
  • Inventory equipment before shipping to its ultimate destination, to include coordination of any chain of custody or other forms in accordance with applicable policies and SOPs
  • Identify the most economical, compliant, and expeditious source of shipping to Missions on a case-by-case basis (i.e., commercial, DOS DIP Pouch, or DOS Bulk DIP pouch).
  • Coordinate transport/pickup of M/CIO IT Assets staged for disposal with specified Contractors or agencies as designated by USAID and/or applicable policies and SOPs.
  • Coordinate with shipping Contractors for shipping cost estimates and provide to the COR for approval prior to coordinating pickup. Upon COR approval to ship, ensure funding for shipments, and verify actual shipping costs are within 10% of estimated costs or seek funding adjustments.
  • Receive excess M/CIO IT Assets into designated locations and stage for disposal according to applicable policies and SOPs, including applicable USAID, GSA, and NSA security policies and procedures.
  • Implement and utilize tracking of all shipped assets through to delivery confirmation.
  • Implement and utilize tracking of all shipped assets intended for receipt at the USAID warehouse, through to delivery confirmation.
  • Create and maintain shipping and receiving logs, and related documents.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualification:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • An active SECRET or the ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
  • Bachelors degree with 2 4 years, or masters degree with 0 - 2 years; four (4) years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a bachelors degree.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to do what is needed to achieve learning goals.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate with individuals at many different levels from within and from outside of the organization.

Target Salary Range:
$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
