A leader in value-based care solutions is looking to hire a seasoned FSA to help lead the actuarial unit. The VP, Actuary will play pivotal role in revolutionizing healthcare delivery, driving efficiencies, and improving patient outcomes.
This role is located in the greater Washington D.C. area.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall management and people leadership of the actuarial unit
- Oversee Medicare Advantage and Accountable Care Organization data analyses
- Support Value based care contracting and Medical Economics reporting relating to cost of care management
- Carry monthly reserving process for Total Medical Expense (TME) estimation.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of health actuarial experience at a carrier, provider, or consulting firm,
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience
- Medicare Advantage background strongly preferred
- Exceptional capacity for leading others and managing actuarial processes
- Highly collaborative with critical thinking skills
