Description:
Seeking a Civil CAD Designer to support various projects for a growing civil engineering firm. This individual must be able to communicate well with our staff as well as clients and contractors. Work includes preparation of civil engineering drawings for site development including grading, storm water drainage, sanitary sewers, waterlines, storm sewers, and supporting design information. Project type includes education, residential/ multifamily, retail, restaurant, municipal, transportation, and more. A good opportunity to get exposure to a variety of project types and grow your career. Must be proficient within Civil 3D and have experience within site civil design.
This is a reputable engineering firm founded in 1998, which has since grown to three offices and professional registration in 9 states. They have a large backlog of work and this individual will be able to work on a wide variety of projects. Looking for driven individuals that fit the company culture and are looking to grow their career with the company. The firm has a large backfill of work with a lot of repeat clients giving them consistent work year-round, but not enough staff to support the projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D required
-2+ years civil design experience - storm water, sanitary sewer, site civil
-Grading design, surface development, feature lines, pipe parts libraries, pipe networks
-Higher education within Civil Engineering, CAD, or related strongly preferred
-Must have education and understanding of State of Ohio and local agency design and approval requirements.
-Ability to meet strict deadlines
-Valid driver's license
