The Social Worker III fosters positive and professional interpersonal relationships with patients/families, physicians, hospital staff, community agency representatives and visitors. Provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment for identified patients and based on findings, facilitates interventions. Effectively uses interpersonal communication skills to resolve conflicts and promote healing environment. The Social Worker III must be credentialed through the CN Medical Staff Office and eligible to bill for services provided in an outpatient setting. They are responsible for independent clinical practice, providing individual, family or group psychotherapy with patients and families. The Social Worker III can provide evaluation and assessment of mental health needs including psychiatric diagnosis and treatment recommendations.Qualifications:Minimum EducationMaster's Degree in Social Work (Required)Minimum Work Experience5 years post-MSW experience as Social Worker with treatment of patients and families managing chronic illness or traumatic experiences.
