If being within a firm that is committed to being the best engineering and consulting firm for structural and building envelope related work in the Baltimore/Washington DC metropolitan areas this position is for youRole & ResponsibilitiesThe assessment, field testing and quality observation of fa ade, roofing and waterproofing systems across multiple building envelope projects.Conduct thorough fenestration/fa ade, non-destructive and moisture intrusion investigations and provide reports, proposals and recommendations based on these investigations in line with company administrative policies.A broad comprehension of concrete and exterior building systems restoration and rehabilitation.Focus on the extension and preservation of the building envelope life-cycle.Opportunity to manage and mentor junior staff.Perform physical surveys of existing structures and facilities for clientsQualificationsBachelor's or equivalent degree in an engineering discipline.Professional Engineering license is preferred but not required.5+ years of experience in restoration or building envelope is required.Technically astute with a strong understanding of contracts, drawings, specifications, work scopes and project schedules.Willingness to travel.Benefits Include$100,000-$135,000 Base.Competitive bonus structure.401k competitive match.Medical, vision and dental insurance.ESOP employee plan.Equal opportunity employer.
