ABOUT THIS TEAM
Our Global Distribution Center (DC) support functions are part of our greater lululemon Supply Chain organization. The DC Support functions are compromised of the Health and Safety, Facilities and Production Control departments within our North America DCs. Based in the DC and reporting to the Health and Safety Supervisor, the Health and Safety Technician will provide support in all areas of health and safety, including mitigating occupational hazards. This role interacts frequently with associates and leaders on the DC floor to promote a safe work environment and culture.
A DAY IN THE LIFE 2nd Shift Sunday - Wednesday 5pm - 3:30am
* Assist with safety entry screening procedures, hygiene practices and monitoring COVID-19 prevention measures for the DC.
* Conduct weekly real-time observations (RTOs) in departments based on incident frequency, post incident, or routine cadence.
* Provide feedback to employees engaging in unsafe behaviors or not adhering to safe work procedures/guidelines.
* Timely investigate and report first aid, work injuries, and near miss incidents.
* Assist employees with completion of First Report of Injury reports and provide first aid as needed.
* Responsible for maintaining safety program training records.
* Conduct lululemon health and safety orientation for new hires and Power Industrial Truck training.
* Participate in emergency response team and emergency response actions.
* Inspect and maintain all safety supplies and equipment to include first aid kits, emergency communication devices, signs, fire extinguishers, PPE and warning devices associated with emergencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Ability to meet attendance requirements.
* Ability to maintain a safe work environment and demonstrate a history of safe work practices.
* General knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations of a distribution center.
* First Aid CPR, and AED training or willingness to certify.
* Flexible and adaptable with schedule which could include working off-shifts, required holidays, some weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
* Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional team?performance. The base pay range for this position is from $21.35 - $23.73/hour, subject to minimum wage in the location. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This position has a target bonus of an additional 5%, subject to certain requirements and the Company's discretion, bringing the total hourly target compensation range between $22.42- $24.92.

Las funciones de apoyo de nuestros centros de distribucin CD (Distribution Center, DC) globales forman parte de la organizacin ms amplia de la cadena de suministro de lululemon. Las funciones de apoyo de los CD incluyen los departamentos de Salud y Seguridad, Instalaciones y Control de Produccin dentro de nuestros CD en Norteamrica. El tcnico de Salud y Seguridad trabaja en el CD y depende del supervisor de Salud y Seguridad. Proporciona apoyo en todas las reas de Salud y Seguridad, incluyendo la mitigacin de los riesgos laborales. Esta funcin interacta frecuentemente con los asociados y los responsables de la planta del CD para promover un entorno y una cultura de un trabajo seguro.
UN DA EN LA VIDA
* Ayudar en los procedimientos de control de entrada de seguridad, las prcticas de higiene y el monitoreo de las medidas de prevencin contra la COVID-19 para el CD.
* Realizar observaciones semanales en tiempo real (real-time observations, RTO) en los departamentos, en funcin de la frecuencia de los incidentes, despus de los incidentes o como rutina.
* Proporcionar orientacin a los empleados que tengan comportamientos poco seguros o que no cumplan con los procedimientos/directrices de seguridad en el trabajo.
* Investigar e informar rpidamente sobre los primeros auxilios, las lesiones laborales y los cuasi incidentes.
* Ayudar a los empleados a completar el primer informe en caso de lesiones y proporcionar primeros auxilios segn sea necesario.
* Responsable de mantener los registros de capacitacin del programa de seguridad.
* Llevar a cabo la orientacin de salud y seguridad de lululemon para los nuevos empleados y la capacitacin sobre camiones industriales motorizados.
* Participar en el equipo de respuesta a emergencias y en las intervenciones de emergencia.
* Inspeccionar y mantener todos los suministros y equipos de seguridad, incluyendo los botiquines de primeros auxilios, los dispositivos de comunicacin de emergencia, las seales, extintores de incendioss, el EPP y los dispositivos de advertencia asociados a las emergencias.
