Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Field Data Collector. In this role, you will be responsible for visiting pre-set appointments with homeowners to collect data on their water service lines. You will gather information about the condition, material, and dimensions of the water service line, as well as any relevant observations or concerns noted by the homeowner. The data you collect will be crucial for assessing and managing the water infrastructure in our community.

Responsibilities:

  1. Attend pre-scheduled appointments with homeowners to collect data on their water service lines.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections of the water service line, including its material, condition, and dimensions.
  3. Document all relevant information accurately and in accordance with established protocols.
  4. Communicate effectively with homeowners to explain the purpose of the data collection and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and accurate transfer of collected data for analysis and reporting.
  6. Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while performing field data collection activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in data collection, field inspections, or related work preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
