Role Overview:
The Business System Analyst for D365 F&O (Finance and Operations) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of the ERP system within Sulzer Turbo Services. This position requires a deep understanding of business priorities, alignment with organizational objectives, and proactive engagement with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Priorities and Alignment:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Sulzer s business priorities, including safety, efficiency, timeliness, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Align ERP priorities with these objectives to drive business success.
- Support the business users in day-2-day work, analyze the issues and liaise with ERP Manager and technical team to address them, provide workarounds/temporary solutions when needed.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with business-critical functions to gather input and requirements related to ERP processes. Key areas include:
- Quoting and orders management
- Project management and accounting
- Purchase requisition to PO process
- Inventory management
- Maintain a comprehensive list of bugs, improvements, and change orders related to the ERP system and processes.
- Define concrete requirements, action items, and deliverables with responsible parties and due dates
- Proactively communicate with stakeholders about progress, requirements, delays, and necessary changes related to ERP enhancements.
- Collaborate in creation of relevant metrics and key performance indicators to assess ERP system performance enabling data-driven decision-making
- Metrics and KPIs:
- Take the lead in defining relevant metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess ERP system performance.
- Share these metrics with process owners, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Use KPI insights to prioritize ongoing improvements and new initiatives.
- Proactive Attitude:
- This role requires an individual who is proactive, adaptable, and committed to driving ERP excellence
- Anticipate challenges, identify bottlenecks, and address issues before they escalate.
- Be solution-oriented and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an ERP consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in ERP system configuration, data migration, and testing.
- Familiarity with business processes modelling is an advantage
