Leading Oil and Gasoline Station Distribution conglomerate seeks commercially astute Territory Sales Manager with 5+ years experience selling Gasoline or Diesel to distributors / retail gas station chains - must have experience selling gasoline, diesel / oil or supplying licenses to distributors - or similar oil/ petrochemical sales - to drive sales growth an d expansion into their West Coast market (the Territory Sales Manager can be based out of AZ, UT, NV or OR), in a hybrid account management and new business expansion role - to drive branded license sales and rack gasoline and diesel sales for their oil brand throughout the territory, supporting both prospective client and existing customer growth. We're looking for someone from an energy or oil/ gasoline background with a strong sales track record pipelining new business, comfortable with cold calling, networking and face to face sales along with ability to grow existing accounts. The role is remote with approximately 50-70% travel in the W. coast region.
Additional responsibilities include: Develop and secure a pipeline of new opportunities by utilizing various methods such as cold calling, face to face meetings, and networking; Partner with customers to keep their marketing strategy competitive, using of all marketing, advertising, image, and credit card program strategy; Maintain expert knowledge of industry trends and market intelligence; conduct the SWOT analysis for your territory.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required; Or combination of equivalent experience and education will be considered.
- 5+ years of demonstrated outside sales representative experience required; Oil & gas industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong track record of success driving sales.
- Ability to travel regularly to meet prospective and established customers (~ 50-70%)
